About Skills Builder Therapy
Our Founders and Therapists
Mavis is a pediatric occupational therapist with over 20 years of experience helping children build the skills they need to thrive. She earned her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Keiser University and also holds degrees in Occupational Science and Clinical Psychology. Mavis specializes in sensory processing, motor skills, behavior, and autism support, and is an ADHD Certified Rehabilitation Service Provider. She is passionate about providing fun, individualized care that supports both children and their families.
Skills Builder Therapy Group, founded in 2013, is dedicated to making a positive difference by providing compassionate, high-quality therapy services to the Miami community.

Experience You Can Trust
Our experienced Occupational and Physical Therapists will design a comprehensive pediatric program tailored to the individual needs of your child. Our goal is to develop or restore as much abilities and independence as possible, with activities and toys that make therapy fun. We provide Occupational and Physical Therapy services for children ages 0 to 21 years old. Our delivery methods include Tele-therapy, at home, school, or daycare centers, and at our state of the art location. We have individual areas for privacy and to attend to the unique needs of each child, a sensory room and a gross motor areas.
